Staff can answer from a desk phone, softphone or mobile client and speak with the caller in wideband HD audio. After confirming the visitor, they can unlock the door or gate using the telephone keypad. The integrated relay, or an optional 8061 IP relay controller, lets you trigger a door strike or gate control from a secure location.

As a SIP intercom, the 8201 registers as a standard SIP extension. It can initiate or receive calls, so you can use it for both door entry and room intercom roles.
